This research investigates the use of climate data standards and tool usability assessments with the goal of improving climate resilience at DOD. IDA found that, because decision makers are overloaded with tools, climate information should be incorporated seamlessly into existing tools whenever possible. Failing that, objective usability testing could help ensure that tools generate value for users.
